Walter Lietha - drum sing i, grad drum
Schweizer Vorpremiere in Anwesenheit des Regisseurs Stefan Haupt von Utopia Blues, Der Kreis, Zwingli, Stiller
In the 1970s, Graubünden singer Walter Lietha was one of the big names on the Swiss music scene, becoming the voice of a generation with his poetic, sometimes socially critical songs. But in the early 1980s, this voice largely fell silent in public. In August 2025, the 75-year-old Grisons bard was honoured with a concert at the ‘Alpentöne’ music festival, which also featured performances by Corin Curschellas, Sophie Hunger, Stephan Eicher, Michael von der Heide and the Narrenschiffband, among others. What has become of Walter Lietha, his utopias and his songs?
